CRM Web App

A high-performance CRM designed to eliminate feature bloat through a strict hierarchy of Missions, Projects, and Tasks. It enforces structural clarity, ensuring every action is logically anchored to a larger business goal.

Modern CRM platforms often suffer from extreme feature bloat, creating significant Choice Overload. For high-speed teams, this generates high Cognitive Load, forcing users to navigate through digital noise. My objective was to design a surgical, 100% utility workflow that replaces "one-size-fits-all" complexity with intentional, agency-ready constraints.

The foundation of this project is a rigid information hierarchy. Unlike traditional flat-list tools, I developed a three-tier dependency system: Missions govern Projects, which house individual Tasks. By applying Tesler’s Law, I shifted complexity into the system architecture itself. This structural constraint ensures a clean "source of truth" and prevents the accumulation of empty data containers.

To manage large-scale data without overwhelming the user, I utilized the principle of Chunking. This is most evident on the Boards Page, where users group work by department. To meet the Doherty Threshold ensuring seamless human-computer interaction I integrated advanced filtering that allows users to bypass Hick’s Law and find specific data points in milliseconds.

I leveraged Jakob’s Law to provide familiar navigation patterns through multiple view states: a Kanban-style Vertical Card View for tracking and a high-density List View for data-heavy operations. These utilize the Law of Proximity to help users instantly perceive the relationship between a single task and the larger business goal.

To ensure long-term consistency and rapid development, I engineered a comprehensive Design System. This included a centralized library of atomic components, standardized typography, and a purposeful color palette. By defining these reusable patterns, I ensured that as the CRM scales, the interface remains cohesive and the Aesthetic-Usability Effect is maintained across every new feature.

I implemented Progressive Disclosure through a dual-interface system: a Custom Side Drawer for rapid status updates and a dedicated Task Page for focused execution. This application of the Law of Common Region ensures team members have context without leaving their workspace. To further streamline the workflow, the Global Task Creator follows Fitts’s Law, placing the ability to create and link work within immediate reach at all times.

I developed a specialized Employee View for high-level resource allocation. This allows leads to monitor the Zeigarnik Effect in real-time observing "in-progress" tasks to drive them toward completion. By allowing managers to reassign work directly from this overview, I significantly reduced the Interaction Cost, transforming a multi-step process into a single-click action.

The result is a high-performance ecosystem where data is entered once and provides value across every layer of the organization. Whether a user is managing ten tasks or a thousand, the underlying relational logic and robust design system keep the interface clean, actionable, and entirely focused on the mission at hand.
